AQUAFINA Pitch Hit & Run
Ages 7 through 14
Rescheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 6:00 p.m.
Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) is a FREE, 1-day event for boys and girls ages 7-14. PHR is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. The competition is free of charge for participants.
Boys and girls compete separately and participants have the opportunity to compete in four levels of competition including Locals, Sectionals, Team Championships and the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game.
- Local Competition
- All-Around, Pitching, Hitting and Running Champions advance from EACH age and gender group.
- Sectional Competition
- Each Sectional is part of an MLB team’s geographic market.
- All-Around Champions in each age and gender group are ELIGIBLE to advance.
- The top 3 scores in each age and gender group among the Sectional All Around Champions within each MLB geographic market will advance to the Team Championships.***
- MLB Team Championship
- Held in all 30 Major League Ballparks.
- Participants must place first in their age group to be ELIGIBLE to advance. The top 3 scores in each age and gender group out of all 30 MLB Team Championships will advance to the National Finals.***
- National Finals – MLB All-Star Week
- National Finalists will receive an all-expense paid trip to the All-Star Game. Finalists will participate in an array of festivities upon arrival, including a PHR Welcome Reception, MLB Brunch and All-Star FanFest. Finalists will compete on-field prior to shagging fly balls during the Home Run Derby and attending the All- Star Game!
PRIZES/AWARDS: At each level of competition competitors will receive an item for their participation. Prizes at different levels of competition include ribbons, medals, trophies and other awards. National Finalists receive a trip to the All-Star Game.
* Competitors compete in four age groups: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14. Age is determined as of July 17.
The City of Warrenton Recreation Department will host a local competition on Wednesday April 27, 2011 at the Warrenton Athletic Complex. The competition begins at 6:00 PM. Participation is free but registration is required. Participants must provide a copy of his/her birth certificate.

Ages 9 through 14
If you are a kid between the ages 9 and 14 who loves to run, jump and throw, these games are for you! Come out and join in the fun by competing in basic track and field events and have a chance of a lifetime to receive an all-expense paid trip to compete in the annual North American Final meet held in Hershey, PA. Beginners and track enthusiasts are all welcome.
The City of Warrenton Recreation Department will host a local meet on Saturday May 14, 2011 beginning at 10:00 AM. The meet will take place at the Warrenton High School Track. Registration is required and participants must provide a copy of his/her birth certificate.

British Soccer Camps provide young players with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international experts right in the heart of their own community. Each British Soccer Camp provides players of all ages and abilities the appropriate program and level of curriculum and a wonderful cultural and educational camp experience!
The City of Warrenton Recreation Department will host the British Soccer Camp from June 27 through June 30, 2011. Register online at www.challengersports.com. Receive a FREE British Soccer jersey when you register on-line with Challenger at least 45 days before camp.
