Event: Circus

It’s stupendous! It’s spectacular! Kelly Miller Circus – America’s favorite circus since 1938 is coming to Warrenton for one day only in October 2010.  Performances are at the Warrenton Athletic Complex sponsored by the City of Warrenton.  The highly acclaimed Kelly Miller Circus features Flying Trapeze, elephants, tiger, horses, clowns, and stars from all over the world.  Buy tickets in Warrenton at City Hall.  Buy your tickets in advance and save!!!

Event: Recycling Day

Any Electronics and Appliances.  Examples of accepted items included: air conditioners (window or central units), water heaters, ranges, refrigerators (Freon can be left in unit), washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, small appliances (toasters, waffle makers, etc.), laptops, monitors, televisions, computers (all hard drives are shredded or wiped with DOD approved software), keyboards, mice, printers, fax machine, scanners, speakers, cameras (video, 35mm, digital), VCRs, DVD players, all gaming systems and game cartridges, music equipment, satellite receivers, copiers, power supplies, radios (including turntable, 8-track, stereo equipment, ham radio), typewriters (word processors, etc.), humidifiers, dehumidifiers, curling irons, hair dryers, selected batteries (car, cell phone, laptop), fans vacuum cleaners, etc.  Basically, anything with a battery or a cord attached to it.  Some items will not be accepted, including, but not limited to: smoke detectors, glass lamps, bulbs, and alkaline batteries.  Everything is FREE with the exception of TVs which are $15.00 and monitors which are $10.00 each to cover processing costs to properly recycle the 4-8 pounds of lead content in each CRT. Evey other item with a cord or batter will be properly recycled for free.  There is a short list of items that will not be accepted. 2010 PAST EVENTS

Event: Auto Fest
Event Date: May 22, 2010

The Auto Fest was held on May 22, 2010 at Khoury Park.  The public enjoyed a car show, DJ, Sh-Boom concert, vendors, and merchants.  Auto Fest drew 135 show vehicles and is part of the I-70 Circuit.

Event: Carnival
Event Dates: May 28, 2010 – May 31, 2010
Location: 1029 Armory Road
Take I-70 to Exit 193. Travel east on the North Service Road, turn left on Armory Road. The Carnival will be visible from I-70.

Carnival in Warrenton, Missouri. Enjoy kiddie rides, major rides, spectacular rides, cotton candy, caramel apples, popcorn, carnival games, free parking, and free admission. Ride costs will vary.

Event Date: July 3, 2010
Event: Catch the Glow

Ten hours of free entertainment made this Street Fair an affordable way to celebrate the holiday.  The public enjoyed three concerts, a free kid’s zone, car and motorcycle show, and food and merchant vendors.

Event: Citywide Yard Sale

Do you have some stuff that you need to get rid of? Are you looking for something in particular?  If so, the Warrenton Citywide Yard Sale is just for you.  This is a one-day, self-sustaining event.  Addresses within the city limits can register at City Hall, at no cost, to be included in the Citywide Yard Sale  Listing Booklet.  The booklet includes a street map and description of each yard sale.  The address, days held, and time of the yard sale will be featured in the descriptions.  Booklets will be available free of charge at City Hall, Thursday, July 29th, and Friday, July 30th.  Booklets will also be available the day of the Citywide Yard Sale, at the corner of West Street and Walton Street, just behind City Hall. Host a sale or enjoy a day of shopping with the Warrenton Citywide Yard Sale.

Location: Within the City of Warrenton  City Limits – Warrenton, MO is located 30 minutes west of St. Charles, on I-70 at Exit 193.
Hours: Hours vary by location
Fee: No fee for Warrenton residents to be included in the Citywide Yard Sale Listing Booklet and booklets are free
