WASTEWATER PLANT SUPERVISOR
The City of Warrenton is currently accepting applications for an experienced wastewater treatment plant operator to serve as the Plant Supervisor (Chief Operator) for the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Warrenton owns and operates a Multiple Loop Reactor (MLR) oxidation ditch type activated sludge plant. The plant is rated for 2.0 MGD and went online in the fall of 2004. It is currently operating at approximately 1.2 MGD. Biosolids from the plant are treated in aerobic digesters and then liquid land applied to surrounding agricultural ground. The treatment plant is staffed Monday through Friday 7:30 to 4:30 with weekend On-Call rotation (once every 12 weeks). Successful candidate must have a Class A, B, or C Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators License as issued by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. Preference will be given to those candidates who have: (1) recent in-plant experience at a wastewater treatment plant, with additional consideration for candidates that have management experience and (2) interaction and experience with the State and Federal wastewater treatment regulations. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Successful applicant will be required to meet On-Call response time requirements. Applications accepted at City Hall until position is filled.
