The Grounds and Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining thirty two properties in the City of Warrenton.  This includes:

• 3.5 acres of Interstate grasslands
• 5 wells
• 7 lift stations
• 35 acres of cemetery
• 114 acres of parks
• Ashland Meadows detention pond
• City Hall
• City maintenance shed
• Columbus Circle waterway
• Dog pound
• Property for future recreation center
• Walton and Oak Street alleys
• Waste water treatment plant

This department maintains inside and outside of all buildings, landscaping, mowing, trimming, new construction, remodeling, and athletic field set-ups.  We are also responsible for maintaining the banners on Booneslick, Highway 47, and Veterans Memorial Parkway.  The Grounds and Maintenance Department also empties trash receptacles on Booneslick, Veterans Memorial Parkway, and Market Street.
