For the fourth year, the Finance Department was awarded a GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Program (COA). This financial reporting goes beyond the minimum requirements of generally accepted accounting principles to ensure that users of financial statements have the information they need.
With a full year of the new software, BS&A under our belt, the Finance Department has continued to address improvements in processes and procedures to allow our department to function more efficiently.
