Free Yard Waste Disposal & Mulch for City Residents

The yard waste disposal site and free mulch are located off Willow Road, near the water treatment plant.

How to Access the Site:

• Visit City Hall during business hours with proof of residency to receive a key for access.
• The site is open Monday – Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• The key must be returned to City Hall by 4:30 PM on the same day.

Requirements:

• Yard Waste Only: Acceptable items include leaves, lawn clippings, and small branches.
• City Residency: Proof of residency is required.
• No Commercial Dumping: Commercial waste is not permitted.
• No Bags: Please do not leave bags (paper or plastic) at the disposal site.
• Gate Security: Lock the gate when finished and return the key to City Hall by the end of business hours.

Free Mulch

You are welcome to take free mulch but must load it yourself. Please bring a shovel, containers, and protective gear.

Directions to Yard Waste Disposal Site:

• From I-70, head north on Highway 47 for about 2 miles.
• Turn right (east) onto Willow Road.
• The disposal area will be on the left (north) side of the road.
