To obtain a copy of a police report, you must contact the Records Division.
Per the Missouri Sunshine Law the governmental body may charge up to 10 cents per page for standard copies. A reasonable fee may also be charged for the time necessary to search for and copy public records.
You may mail your request, or pick up your copy in person. Please refer to the case number or the date of incident, victim name, and type of incident at the time you request the report.
In order to obtain a Criminal History Record, you must contact the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Criminal Records Division, as all local records are deposited there.
The records division is open Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM, excluding Holidays.
In addition to basic patrol functions the Police Department also provides three school resource officers to the Warren County R-III School District. These officers are responsible for law enforcement within the schools of the district. They also teach safety awareness classes to students and staff. Our Criminal Investigation Division is staffed by two detectives. The Criminal Investigation Division is responsible for conducting investigations into serious crimes committed within the City of Warrenton.
